“Affordable room and nice stuff”

“This was my second time staying at The Latch Inn. It has a lovely setting by the marina. The rooms are very majestic. The staff is very polite and oh so helpful. The breakfast dining room is lovely and the food was perfect. The only thing I would comment on is that there was a slight smell of gas coming from the fireplace in the dining hall which my husband reported to the staff and another guest also reported the smell that had been coming from their fireplace in their suite. So our hope was……

“Things we did not like was the dirty towell with hair shower faucet broken which reception knew about but said nothing, and very poor breakfast with items missing due they said to tge food delivery not arriving. However, the pub next door 'Dickens' was good.”

“A lovely B&B close to everything in Sidney. A purpose built B&B, with very quiet and comfortable rooms. A continental breakfast is delivered to your room, as often guests are heading to the ferry or airport. Worked perfectly for us. Room was very comfortable with our own heat control, fireplace, jetted tub and shower, and comfortable bed and linens. Great safe parking in the back of the inn. Highly recommend. ”

“Incredible host! The property is beautiful and we got to stay in the suite, which is huge and well appointed. The breakfast was delicious and even catered to special dietary needs. We look forward to returning in the future.”

“We loved our short stay at Bayview B&B! Juliette was communicative leading up to check-in, and we really enjoyed visiting with her during breakfast. She is a fantastic cook! Already looking forward to planning a longer stay here.”

“Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. Was not able to take advantage of the breakfast unfortunately, but the menu looked delicious!”

“Stay is good. Rooms are lovely and with a good view. Restaurants close really early around 7:30 pm, not ideal as there are not much options to eat nearby either. Plus only one restaurant was open and didn’t have a lot of options. Staff is courteous. Property is beautiful, but one of the pools wasn’t open yet. ”

“The room was clean and well designed as it is a new hotel. The only problem they have start up problems. Firstly I had to turn the main electrical breaker on as the power had been turned off to the room. We did not have the room serviced for three of the days although they did provide us wwith clean towels when asked. It is well suited for long term stay. I have been a Marriiott member for many years. ”

“The house’s view is very nice,but it is not comfortable and convenient to stay. The host is very nice and try her efforts to maintain the house in good condition. ”
